What you will learn

  • Strong pallets and wrapping protect freight
  • Clear labels prevent misdelivery
  • Paperwork ready at pickup saves time

Freight that is ready when the driver arrives loads faster, travels safer, and gets delivered without surprises.

Before the driver arrives

  • Use sturdy, undamaged pallets and stack evenly
  • Wrap or band freight so it cannot shift
  • Label each piece with the consignee name and address
  • Have the bill of lading filled out and ready

At pickup

Count the pieces with the driver and note any visible damage on the paperwork. Clear documentation at pickup makes any claim, if one is ever needed, simple.
